A huge part of our conservation efforts involves reducing the amount of waste we produce, and promoting reuse! Part of the UC Zero Waste 2020 goal is an overall waste reduction pre capita, meaning we need to reduce the single-use items we use on campus, even if they are recyclable or compostable.
